The workplace: A new frontier for promoting financial health

This event, organized by the ILO, RISE (Reimagining Industry to Support Equality) and IOE (International Organisation of Employers) on the margins of the 81st Session of the UN General Assembly, will explore how employers and responsible workplace financial services can help workers manage expenses, build savings and cope with financial shocks, while also contributing to stronger business performance. 

The workplace is emerging as an important entry point for improving workers’ financial health. Bringing together enterprises, employers’ and workers’ organizations, financial service providers, policymakers, regulators and development partners, the discussion will examine emerging workplace financial services, the safeguards needed to protect workers, and the partnerships required to scale responsible solutions.
